Ganga Aarti
This aarti starts with chanting of bhajan, beating drums, bells and diyas offering to the Ganga. The priest hold large fire bowls in their hands, the bells in the temples at the Ghat start ringing and the chants of mantras flowing out in the air. The Ghat is lighted up every evening at the time of Maha Arti.

The offering is made to the Goddess Ganga, also affectionately referred to as Maa Ganga, goddess of the holiest river in India. The aarti takes on special significance on the auspicious occasion of Ganga Dussehra (in May or June each year), when Maa Ganga is believed to have descended from heaven to earth. The name and location of the devotee is only required to do this puja. No other samagri is required. On booking this puja the devotee will receive the video of the ganga aarti being done in his name.
